Talk your way through revision. Read your class notes aloud, or try explaining concepts to someone else. Revise with a friend who also prefers auditory learning, so you can talk through your ideas and understanding with each other.
Try to get into the habit of reading “aloud in your head”. Obviously, you can’t read aloud in the exam room, so practise hearing yourself read without disturbing anyone else.
To make things more memorable for you, try writing rhythmic or rhyming versions of facts or theories that you need to know. Use alliteration or other phonological features to make things memorable in a meaningful way for yourself.
Auditory Learners need to use:
SOUND
RHYME & RHYTHM
