This is often the hardest group to find good ideas for, as by nature you will want to be wandering about or actively doing something. Obviously, this is not possible in a traditional exam situation, so a lot of your work may end up being about curbing your natural tendencies and training yourself to go through exams.
People have previously had some success with using finger-counting to remember things - try to associate different ideas (or part of an idea) with each finger or knuckle, so that in an exam you can recall these concepts by touching/rubbing each finger/knuckle in turn.
You may find you can better remember things if you engage in physical activity while trying to learn them - e.g. running on the spot, or bouncing a ball while running through the different parts of a theory, or reciting list-like ideas (e.g. to commit the framework headings to memory).
Index cards may be helpful to you as something which can be handled, shuffled and rearranged. You may find the “giant mind map” idea helpful (see visual techniques).
